WJFK “Sexton Executive Security Training Program” Online Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1.    HOW TO ENTER

a.    The “Sexton Executive Security Training Program” Online Contest (the “Contest”) will begin on 4/07/08, 10:00am Eastern Time (“ET”) and end on 4/17/08, 3:00pm ET (the “Contest Period”).

b.    To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Visit the WJFK website (www.WJFK.com) and enter keyword “Body Guard” in the keyword section to be taken to the contest page.  Enter your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number and a valid email address in the online entry form.  Complete an essay, 150 words or less, as to why you should be selected as the winner of the training program.  Only one internet entry per person and one internet entry per email address is permitted.  Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.  The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address.  All entries must be received by [SPECIFY TIME.] on [SPECIFY DATE.].  The Station’s computer is the official timekeeping device for this Contest.

c.    The Station is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. 

d.    One entry per person.

2.    ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a.    The contest is open to all persons who are 21 years of age or older and who reside in DC metro area and surrounding cities/suburbs.  Employees of WJFK-FM (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the DC metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win.

b.    Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.

c.    Winner must present valid driver’s license, complete a prize release form, and complete a W-9 form.

d.    Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent.  The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

3.    PRIZES

b.    One (1) grand prize:  one (1) Prize Certificate valid for full tuition costs for Personal Protection Program at Sexton Executive Security in Baltimore, MD taking place between 4/27/08-5/3/08.  The program is a 7-day residency course taught by the Sexton Executive Security Training Academy that will train students the Art of Personal Protection.  They will study theory as well as engaging in practical exercises involving  protecting and evacuating  a client, attacks on the client’s vehicle, how to prepare journeys – both at home and overseas, threat assessment, working with the Secret Service, paparazzi, fans, etc.  There will also be advanced and tactical firearms training.  Graduates will become members of a very exclusive group of associates where internal networking will lead to employment opportunities (networking is a course topic), private conferences, assistance with growing a bodyguard business and much more.  Since Sexton Executive Security is a State certified training school, all graduates will be eligible to become registered as Personal Protection Specialists by the Department of Criminal Justice Services (assistance will be given with items such as the proper procedure for completing application forms, advice on advanced firearm training, applying for Concealed Weapons permits, etc).  Properly registered personnel with the proper permits and registrations will be eligible to work as professional bodyguards not only for SEXTON, but any other professional security company who provides executive protection services.  Participation in the training program does not guarantee future employment or employment placement with SEXTON or any other security company.  (ARV: $3,200). 

c.    All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below.  The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within ten (10) days of winning.  In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss.  The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. 

d.    There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Other restrictions may apply.

4.    WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a.    Decisions of Station management with respect to the contest are final.

b.    Sexton Executive Security, Inc (“SES”) will receive all essay portions (without personal information) by 3:15pm ET on 4/17/08.  SES will review all essays and choose one (1) winner for the grand prize based on strength of essay, perceived desire to participate in the program, and any other elements of the essay that make the entrant stand out.  The winner will be chosen no later than 10:00am ET on 4/18/08 and announced live within the Big O & Dukes show sometime between 10:00am ET and 3:00pm 4/18/08.  The winner will also be contacted via phone that same day.

c.    Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.

d.    Winner need not listen or be present to win.

e.    Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and no alternate winner will be chosen.

5.    CONDITIONS

a.    Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b.    By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. 

c.    Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d.    The Station, in is sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules.  It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.

e.    The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. 

f.    Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station. 

g.    The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

h.    Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WJFK-FM, 10800 Main St, Fairfax VA 22030.

6.    INTERNET SWEEPSTAKES PRIVACY POLICY

a.    By use of this website and by entering the Contest, you agree to the Station’s Web Site Terms of Use Agreement and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at:  “www.WJFK.com”.
